PDR was formed in 1985 by two brothers and their friend - Philip and Roger Gibbs, and David Lowrie - and PDR's first system was launched in 1987. PDR is a global leader in Focused Infra-Red (IR) rework systems, with its products specified by many of the world's largest names in electronics manufacturing for SMT/BGA rework. Nearly twenty years later, PDR is still at the forefront of rework technology and has over 3,500 installations worldwide.
