The 2K Series is an inspection and process control solution enabling a 100% defect detection including presence, absence, polarity, placement accuracy, OCV as well as lifted lead inspection and sensitive solder joints & bridges. The 2K Series improves SMT line yield through print, placement & reflow Process Control.
The 2K Series can inspect PCBAs up to 14’’ x 14” with an optimized design to reduce the cost of owner ship. Declined in 2 versions, the 2K HIGH SPEED and the 2K PERFORM are both guarantying a fast return on investment.
The 2K HIGH SPEED is a fast and compact solution designed to meet the challenges of miniaturization in high throughput SMT environments. It is equipped with a high resolution and high speed camera offering the required technology to inspect small components down to 01005.
The 2K PERFORM is a compact and affordable solution designed to meet the challenges of small and medium volume PCBAs manufacturers. It is equipped with Vi TECHNOLOGY latest software suite offering high inspection capability with no compromise on programming time.
The 2K HIGH SPEED is a fast and compact AOI solution designed for the most demanding applications. It combines very high throughput with extremely small component inspection to meet the challenges of miniaturization in high throughput SMT environments.
The 2K HIGH SPEED offers leading edge inspection technology in a compact and affordable product, without affecting cycle time. The high-speed, high-resolution camera offers 01005 component inspection capabilities for PCBs up to 14” x 14” in size and provides 100% defect coverage at any location in the assembly line.
It is equipped with a high speed Premium acquisition head, which incorporates best-in-class technologies to maximize throughout, including camera, optics and the i-LITE lightning system, and supports Super-resolution technology. State-of-the-art mathematical algorithms reconstruct high-resolution images from several images at “standard” resolution. A Gage R&R of less than 10% is achieved systematically on 01005 package types. Combined with Vectoral Imaging Technology, it makes the most of our customers’ AOI solutions.
